16LS Following a major trauma, Defence Barrister Ingrid Lewis is rebuilding her life when tragedy strikes again, as her friend and mentor Belinda is killed. Ingrid thinks she was the intended victim and questions if John Webster, her former client turned stalker.

MSC Ingrid sets out to prove Belinda’s death was murder. Detective Nash thinks it was an accident and dismisses Ingrid’s theories.

MC Ingrid heads to a remote hideaway, determined to work out what is happening. Ingrid’s ex-fiancé Mark turns up unexpectedly, explaining why he is back in her life, but should she believe him?

MVC Ingrid believes a past case may provide answers; however, Detective Nash warns Ingrid against pursuing her own investigation. Ingrid feels increasingly isolated, and Webster tells her to trust him, helping take Ingrid another step closer to identifying the killer - but then events take a dangerous turn.

MVLC Ingrid challenges Webster for concealing vital information and visits a lonely suicide spot where she finds she isn’t alone. When Detective Nash arrives, his conduct seems suspicious and personally motivated.

MVC Ingrid is forced to re-examine the Webster trial she worked on and face the consequences.
