With a few long-term relationships in her dating history, the last five years of her dating life has been pretty non-existent, as Chanel usually gives up on guys before they even start dating!

What made you want to be a contestant on The Bachelor?

I said yes to The Bachelor because what an opportunity it could be! I wanted to be a contestant to have a bit of an adventure around New Zealand, to meet some likeminded incredible wahine; and possibly find a wonderful man out of it all! Who wouldn’t say yes to that?

What’s an interesting fact people wouldn’t necessarily know about you?

Before becoming a makeup artist, I wanted to become a pilot in the Air Force. I spent most of sixth form looking into what I needed to join; however, I came across my part time job and fell into makeup artistry. It’s something I still consider every so often!

Where is your favourite place to visit in Aotearoa, and why?

It would have to be between Paraparaumu – which is where my grandparents used to live. Growing up, we would spend so much time in the Kapiti Coast enjoying the beach and sunshine, and I find myself drawn back there on days where I need a drive and good vibes!
