Grey’s Anatomy: The fog rolls in for an epic season finale
Will we have to say goodbye to one of our favourite characters at the end of season 15?

It wouldn’t be a Grey’s Anatomy season finale if some of Grey Sloan Memorial’s finest weren’t in danger!
At the end of the last episode, the fog had descended upon Seattle and was causing havoc for more than one of our Grey’s faves.
Owen and Schmitt were stuck in a car on the highway, surrounded by traffic chaos, while bringing an agoraphobic patient with a rare blood type into the hospital to save Karev’s patient. With cars crashing around them, the trio are sitting ducks, hoping not to get hit themselves.
Teddy was also on the road when the fog rolled in having just gone into labour. Now heading for the hospital in the backseat of Amelia’s car, Teddy also confessed that she’s still in love with Owen just as her waters broke.
Then there’s Jackson and Maggie, who have had some pretty bad luck camping and are about to return to the city when they see a storm brewing and the fog moving in.

Maggie has hurt her ankle and has been stung by an insect so is already in trouble.
Meanwhile, Meredith’s love interest DeLuca is taking the blame for her insurance fraud and could be on his way to the police station to confess.
Is the season 15 cliffhanger about to deliver a devastating blow?
What we do know is four characters are most likely safe, thanks to the recent renewal announcements.

However the finale ends, we know we’ll be back at Grey Sloan Memorial for two more seasons, with Ellen Pompeo extending her contract to the show until 2021.
So that, along with being the show’s star, pretty much guarantees Meredith will make it out of this one alive.
Showrunner Krista Vernoff has also confirmed that actors Chris Carmack, Jake Borelli, and Greg Germann have been promoted from guest stars to series regulars for season 16. So their characters Link, Schmitt and Koracick are also most likely safe – at least for another year…
Who will survive the fog? Grey’s Anatomy’s season 15 finale will be available Friday 17 May at 8pm.
