Plays Ariana

Shushila was born in Christchurch and raised in Nelson.

She was always interested in the arts, and has worked hard to make a life as a working actress. 

In 2013, Shushila worked with writer/director Rene Naufahu on his debut feature film, The Last Saint. 

She was subsequently cast in her first leading role in the supernatural thriller series, Tatau.

Shushila then starred in the MTV fantasy series, The Chronicles of Shannara.

"I was drawn to my role as Ariana because some of her character rung true with me," she says.

"I adore all of the characters in Filthy Rich. It’s thrilling to see all the trials that they face and how they overcome them."
