A recording of the 911 call a neighbour made after Tiger Woods crashed his car into a tree has been released
Woods is still wanted for questioning about the incident in which he allegedly had an altercation with his wife Elin Nordegren following reports of an extra marital affair.
Woods' neighbour called 911 after discovering the star's vehicle after it collided with a tree on his drive.
In the recording the neighbour can be heard frantically calling for help.
"I need an ambulance immediately," he said. "It is a car accident."
The neighbour who never mentions Woods by name, tells 911 operators that the victim of the crash is "unconscious" and that he is lying "on the ground."
When police arrived on the scene they found Woods lying on the ground with his wife standing over him with a golf club in her hand.
Woods and Nordegren claim that she used the golf club to smash the back window of the vehicle to help free her husband.
TMZ has since reported that Woods told a friend his wife went "ghetto" on him after hearing rumours about his alleged affair with Rachel Uchitel.
TMZ claims that Nordegren scratched Tigers face, chased him while he was driving and broke his back window. Police have tried to question Woods and Nordegren on three occasions and have been turned away each time.
Woods finally broke his silence on Monday saying in a statement released on his website that: "This is a private matter and I want to keep it that way."
Rachel Uchitel says that she has met Tiger Woods, but that the two have never been intimate .
