A Frenchman who lost all his limbs in an electrical accident has swum across the English Channel.
Philippe Croizon, 42, set off from Folkestone in southern England and arrived on the French coast just over 12 hours later.
He was propelled by his specially designed flipper-shaped prosthetic legs which move him along at around three kilometres per hour.
He was accompanied by dolphins for part of the crossing.
He lost his limbs after getting a 20 thousand volt shock when he was removing a TV aerial from a house roof and an arc of current surged through him from a nearby powerline.
