Hotel Babylon:

Step inside television's most glamorous hotel for more seductive insights into the lives and loves of those for whom five star luxury is nothing but essential. The reception personnel of the slick and seductive Hotel Babylon are once again waiting to greet guests and viewers, and some new faces are checking in to stir things up.

Former EastEnders heartthrob Nigel Harman and Anna Wilson-Jones (Afterlife, Hex, Monarch of the Glen) join the regular cast of Dexter Fletcher, Emma Pierson, Michael Obiora, Martin Marquez, Ray Coulthard, Danira Govic and Alexandra Moen. Nigel plays the hotel's charismatic new owner, Sam Franklin, while Anna plays his ex-wife and Babylon's General Manager, Juliet.

When Sam attempts to check into Hotel Babylon in Episode 1, he has no idea that his ex-wife has been appointed as a trouble-shooter to either shut down or save the hotel.

As the day unfolds, some disturbing events threaten the hotels equilibrium and Sam decides to take matters into his own hands. Several phone calls later and Sam is the new owner of Hotel Babylon, much to Juliet's annoyance.

With a Bollywood-style wedding, celebrity magazine shoot, mafia gangsters and lots of guest stars checking in, Series 4 will keep audiences entertained throughout the summer in true Hotel Babylon-style.

Inspired by Imogen Edwards-Jones's exposé of life behind the scenes of the luxury hotel industry in London, Hotel Babylon takes viewers on a journey beyond the glamour and facade of the smiling faces and glittering chandeliers and into the frenetic, non-stop world of the staff.

All viewers' favourite regular characters are back, including Tony (Dexter Fletcher), the colourful and discreet concierge; Anna (Emma Pierson), the delectable but catty head receptionist; Gino (Martin Marquez), Babylon's flamboyant head barman; and the even more flamboyant receptionist, Ben (Michael Obiora), who continues to camp it up front of house; while Tanya (Danira Govic) is promoted to head of housekeeping following Jackie's departure in Series 3.

Also joining the regular cast in Episode 7 is former Emmerdale soap-star Amy Nuttall as new employee Melanie Hughes.

And Max Beesley, who played the hotel's former manager Charlie Edwards in previous series, makes a guest appearance and his character gets more than he bargains for when he sees old flame, Anna.

Other guest stars include Abi Titmuss, Patrick Baladi, Honor Blackman, Tony Robinson, Ed Williams, Christopher Cazenova, Frances Barber, Alex Zane, James Fleet, Trevor Peacock, Kelly Osbourne, Clive Russell and Michelle Collins.
