60’s comedy duo Lou and Simon bids farewell to Lou

Lou and Simon a comedy pop vocal duo from the 60’s lost one of its members today. Lou Clauson died at the age of 85. Lou and Simon were famously known for their comedy vocal pieces. Although Clauson wasn’t Maori, he sang with many Maori who considered him to be whanau.

Kelston domestic results in shooting      

A 39 year old man is in a stable condition in Auckland hospital after he was allegedly shot by his wife on Friday night. Brent Dudley was shot at a house in the Auckland suburb of Kelston.

Search continues for missing man of Maunganui Bluff

Search for a missing 27-year-old fisherman is expected to resume today off Northland's west coast. Relatives of the man will be searching north of Maunganui Bluff, northwest of Dargaville.
