The Beauty Myth

Born a perfect little Kiwi girl, everything changed for Areena Deshpande after a horror accident. Just two years old, her head and much of her body was burnt beyond recognition when the car she was left inside burst into flames. Over 100 surgeries later, Areena now has a life she never thought possible.

On Sunday this week, Areena goes public for the first time, telling the struggles of her life, her love story, and challenging the way we see beauty in ourselves and others.
