BAD EGGS

Ever baulked at spending an extra couple of dollars to buy free range eggs instead of battery farm eggs.

SUNDAY has obtained film shot in some battery hen farms and it should be enough to loosen your wallet!!

Conditions have been described as appalling, enough to put you off your eggs bene and bacon. Cages which don't comply, skinny malnourished hens, dead hens, mountains of bird droppings, vermin, and right there amongst it all the eggs which end up on your breakfast table. So who's enforcing the rules? Who's keeping our battery hen farms honest?

FATAL FRIENDSHIP

When the King of Pop died two years ago there were only two people in the room. Michael Jackson himself and Dr Conrad Murray.

Tonight our exclusive story uncovers the fatal friendship behind the headlines and the chain of events that led to one man dead, the other's professional reputation in tatters and the Dr himself in jail.

Now, just days after Dr Murray was found guilty of the involuntary manslaughter of Michael Jackson, Murray breaks his silence and talks about his relationship with Jackson and events of the day Jackson died.

We also explore the private and surreal world of Jackson where the controversial use of powerful medication was a way of life, where a man adored by millions lived as a virtual recluse, where an unknown cardiologist from Texas found himself the unexpected companion, confidante and intimate to one of the most famous men in the world.

BIC LA BELLE

It had been a while, four years or so since her third album BIRDS went triple platinum. But Bic Runga's life had changed, being an international recording artist tripping between Auckland and Paris was put aside for the arrival of a little boy called Joe. But now Bic is back on the bike, back writing and her fourth album called BELLE is released next week. Bic talks to SUNDAY about motherhood and making music.
