Support Ido's Famine challenge

Shorty's own Ido Drent (Daniel Potts) is supporting a pretty special cause this year as he leads the BLUE Team in the annual 40 Hour Famine Challenge.

In 2010, it's a  bit different and Famine 2010 is going tribal.

Participants can choose one of 4 teams and then it's up to each person to make your team 'the' team to be on.

It's all about who can get the most people to join their team and also who can get the most sponsors.

Currently, Ido's Blue Team has the most members, but he wants more! So go to www.famine.org and get on board!

But what's the famine really all about?

In a nutshell it's all about going without for those without. T

hat means standing up for those in our global community who struggle ever day to get what we take for granted; safe water, food, healthcare, and education.

The 40 Hour Famine is on 21-23 May this year. You can do it on your own, with a group or with your school mates.

All you have to do is get people to sponsor you for going without something you find difficult to give up for 40 hours.

"The money raised really does help children all around the world are much less fortunate than us," says Drent. " Join my team, take part in the challenge and let's go without for those without."
