I’m used to being questioned about the show by almost everyone I meet these days. It’s great to hear people’s perspective on what the show should be, well most times.

One constant question is a personal one “are you nervous?”. I say “hell, yes”. I’d be worried if I wasn’t.

We’ve had so many talented people here at TVNZ put in very long hours to get this show humming, and humming it is.

So what can you expect? First of all we’re trying to get people using our website as they watch: .

The concept here is that we know many people watch TV with laptops and tablets in their living rooms. Our webpage will be streaming the show, but it will also give people  the chance to give their comments and vote on polls. We can gauge people’s reactions instantly.

Our website will evolve over the next few weeks as we see what you like and what you don’t like. This show is all about transparency.

We’ll evolve and you can never expect the same thing show to show. We’ve designed it so we can be as flexible as we can.

Tonight Heather du Plessis-Allan is going to take us on a behind the scenes look in the Beehive and she has some interesting moments with the Prime Minister.

We have an inspirational story about one of our soldiers back from Afghanistan, but he still has a major battle here at home to face.

Greg Boyed has an exclusive interview with American singer Josh Groban. He’s Oprah Winfrey’s most requested guest, and he’s got a couple of surprises for us.

This is only our first show, we’ve got a strong line-up for the week so get involved on our webpage or go on Twitter #SevenSharp , Facebook , text 8875 or email
