Reservoir Hill nominated for another major award!
Reservoir Hill has been announced as a finalist at the New York Film and Television Awards for best online entertainment programme.
The Awards, which will be held in Las Vegas on 12 April, are promoted as recognising the "World's Best Work" in news, sports, documentary, information and entertainment programming. Reservoir Hill was selected from 35 entries, and is one of five finalists from New Zealand.
Two series of Reservoir Hill have screened exclusively on TVNZ Ondemand. The interactive online drama is created, produced and directed by Thomas Robins and David Stubbs, of Wellington-based KHF Media.
In 2010 Reservoir Hill won an international Digital Emmy Award in a New Zealand first.
Head of Digital Media and Channels Eric Kearley is delighted that Reservoir Hill has once again been recognised on the international stage:
"This nomination is testament to the incredibly hard work of the
TVNZ team, as well as the production company, KHF Media. It's also
a tribute to the support of NZ On Air for making this world-class
creative innovation possible."
Thomas Robins from KHF Media is equally thrilled at the international recognition Reservoir Hill has received:
"The support we have had from the digital team and commissioning at TVNZ has been wonderful.
"Our cast and crew did a sterling job and to see that Beth's story is being talked about overseas is just fantastic."
