New Q&A with Beth Page Chote (Beth)
How is it being back filming Reservoir Hill season
2?
It's awesome, I have looked forward to it for ages so it feels good
to be back doing such a fun show.
Whats changed for you personally since the end of season
1?
Not a lot! I'm still just working and being laid back,
but I've definitely started to look at my career a bit more
closely, and really trying to push that.
Do you ever get recognised out in public?
Very rarely. Sometimes people look at me like they know
me from somewhere but it's not often that they make the connection
to the show. More people recognise me as the series progresses
though.
Do you think you would be friends with your character in
real life?
Maybe, because generally she's a cool chick, but then
again, maybe not, because I don't think I could handle that much
drama in my real life!
Now that a lot more people know about the show, do your
friends ever try to find out from you whats going on?
Yes they do ask sometimes, even though they know I can't
ever tell them anything because I don't know myself!
Are there any similarities between you and your
character?
Well we are both quite reserved until we really get to
know people. But other than that we don't have much in common. Beth
Connolly is very serious and I'm much more laid back and I joke
around a lot.
If a movie about your life was made, who would you want
to play you?
Maybe Courtney Cox or Jennifer Aniston; one because I
love Friends, and two because they both smile lots, and my life
could definitely be a comedy.
Which other TV show would you like to act on?
I think it would be fun to go for a show with a different
audience. Something like Go Girls would be awesome.
Who's your current favourite singer/band?
It's so hard to choose just one! I guess today it would
be Usher - I've always thought he was awesome.
Can you tell us a secret from filming on set?
I guess the only real secret would be that behind the
scenes of Reservoir Hill is nothing like what you see on screen. We
have such an awesome team of people working with us and being on
set is so much fun, there are always lots of laughs.
