Auckland convention centre - Steven Joyce

The Government is planning a deal with SkyCity to build a new convention centre in Auckland, and in return will change legislation to allow the casino to put in several hundred more pokie machines. There is growing criticism of the deal, with Labour leader David Shearer saying John Key is effectively "selling a law". Q A host Greg Boyed talks to Economic Development Minister Steven Joyce about the deal.

Christchurch rebuild - Gerry Brownlee

Fourteen months after the February earthquake, work in rebuilding Christchurch is taking longer than initially thought. This week Earthquake Recovery Minister Gerry Brownlee announced the Christchurch Central Development Unit has 100 days to come up with a blueprint for the central city. Q A host Greg Boyed talks to Brownlee about rebuilding the city.
