Kiwi motorcycle champion Jake Whitaker took on the record for the
fastest time to ride a trials motorbike over 21 oil drums.
The record is currently set at 12.6 seconds by Jurgen Huter of Germany, but our Kiwi boy is determined to try and break the record with a faster time.
Jake Whitaker is a trials bike rider from Wainuiomata. At only
18 years of age, he is currently New Zealands best trials rider
winning the New Zealand Trials Championship in 2007 and 2008.
