Fletcher is a country lad who lives on a 300 acre beef and sheep
farm in Tauranga with his 14-year-old brother, Mum and Dad and a
menagerie of pigs, goats, turkeys, deer and horses.
He's in his first year at Tauranga Intermediate where he's had the
odd singing lesson and for the past four years has been taking
guitar lessons.
In addition to his love of music he's also a mad keen basketball
player.
The youngster says he was encouraged to enter NZGT by his school
mates. "Everyone in my class says Ill win!"
"I have a special gift that I think I should share with everyone. I was born singing. If Mum could have swallowed a guitar I would have been playing as well!"
