Billy's Big Brass Band
Bill Rimmer (63) started his one man band just for fun for his 50th birthday. It went down so well he performed the same act again for his 60th.
He now performs for laughs at parties – and decided to enter NZGT at the urging of his wife and workmates.
A perfect opening first act for the series, Billy had the judges in fits of laughter and was a firm audience favourite, despite not making it though to the next round.
