Two injured after car crashes into tree

One person suffered serious injuries after the car they were in collided with a tree early today.

Police were called to the accident on Makino Road in Halcombe, near Feilding at 12.30am.

According to police, one person was in a serious condition, while another suffered moderate injuries.

Both victims are now at Palmerston North Hospital.
