Karen Olsen is a ONE News weather presenter.

March 23 is World Meteorological Day, and the day that Wellingtonian Karen was born.

Karen came to the ONE News Weather Team from Metservice. One of the more interesting projects Karen worked on with the service was spending much of 1989 on Raoul Island running the weather programme with three other people.

Karen left Metservice and moved to Auckland in 1994 where she joined the One Network News weather team.

Karen has also found time to have two children, and is an ambassador for Variety Club as well as a sponsor of children with the Christian Children's Foundation.
