A young woman who allegedly knocked down four cyclists in Auckland last month, injuring one critically, has been charged by police.
The 20-year-old woman is due to appear in Auckland District Court next month on four charges of careless driving causing injury.
Police alleged she knocked down and injured four cyclists among a group of 20 on Tamaki Drive on Auckland's waterfront on September 26.
The badly hurt cyclist, Greg Paterson, received head, neck and chest injuries and was in a critical condition for several days after the incident.
The woman had allegedly failed to halt at a stop sign.
