Now, Tuariki Delamere says he will defend them to the ends of the earth, if children - especially Maori children, are involved.
Because according to the former Immigration Minister, it's all about whakapapa.
Maori Seats and Fijian Mats
This week Maori featuring prominently in the headlines.
Amongst them, a Private Members Bill introduced to Parliament by
Labour MP Mita Ririnui to entrench legislation governing the
Mäori Electorate Seats not to mention all the talk surrounding
whether or not a Mäori Party-inspired delegation of Mäori
leaders will visit troubled Fiji.
What are we to make of it all?

10 years ago Tama Waipara left Aotearoa for New York and a career playing clarinet.
The clarinet is still there, but these days Tama Waipara is more likely to pick up a microphone too.

called Sir Plus.
