Monday 23 November
Nate's father, Gavin, tries to convince Nate that he wants to make up for walking out on him and his mother. Nate's torn, so Gavin suggests a small step – dinner tonight, with Ricky. Nate agrees to it, but he's still harbouring doubts.
Nate's nervous as he and Ricky make their way to dinner with Gavin. Ricky tries to calm him, and is proud of him for putting himself out there. Nate's worried it's going to be a complete disaster, but deep down he hopes Gavin is going to surprise him.
They find Gavin, nervous too, and Ricky breaks the ice with a small joke. After some awkward small talk, Gavin reveals he got Nate into kayaking, and they relax a little, all hopeful the old wounds keep healing.
Evelyn visits Andy and tells him that Josh wrote a note to her saying “YOUR FAULT” at the hospital. She breaks down, and Andy does his best to comfort her.
Oscar and Maddy arrive at the hospital to see Josh. Hannah checks if he's up to it, but Josh shakes his head. Josh overhears Maddy and Oscar's messages of love and support, but he's still scared and vulnerable.
Back at Andy's, Evelyn has fallen asleep on the couch, and he leaves her to rest.
At the hospital, Andy tells Josh that Evelyn was upset by what he wrote. Josh doesn't want to hear about it, and pushes his tray away in protest, sending his food flying, and leaving Andy scared for Josh's state of mind.
Hannah thinks Josh's fears for the future are making him push people away, and he needs time to come to terms with everything. Andy just wants him back, and takes comfort in her arms. He promises to keep trying to help his brother.
As their night together ends, the conversation now flows freely between Ricky, Nate and Gavin. Ricky invites Gavin to the beach with Casey and herself. Gavin accepts Ricky's offer, and moves off to pay for dinner. Nate can't believe the side of Gavin he's seeing tonight, but thinks it's still too early to tell if he's changed.
The next morning Evelyn comes home on her way to the hospital. She tells Maddy and Oscar that she's not going to let Josh push her away. Alf suggests she give him some time to himself, but Evelyn is determined to be there for Josh, leaving the others concerned.
Evelyn arrives at the hospital with some magazines to read to Josh, but he doesn't want her there, and flails his arms at her. Hannah enters, and seeing Josh's reaction to Evelyn, steers her out of the room.
Hannah explains that Evelyn's visits will hamper his recovery, and she doesn't have to be there with him to be a good friend.
Evelyn heads off, and Hannah catches up with Nate, surprised when he reveals his father is in town. Nate's hopeful that things between them will get better after last night, but knows it's still early days.
At the beach, Ricky notices Gavin checking her out, and he pays her some sleazy compliments. After his swim, Gavin continues to come onto her, leaving Ricky feeling uneasy.
Andy avoids Hannah at the hospital, and she tells Nate that she thinks it's because he still has feelings for her. Desperate to get it off her chest, she admits she's got some feelings for Andy too. Nate thinks that if she's not going to act on her feelings, she has nothing to feel guilty about. Nate moves off, but his advice hasn't put her at ease.
Nate takes Casey off Ricky's hands, and she covers up Gavin's slimy behaviour when Nate asks about him. But when Ricky arrives at work, she finds Maddy distressed, unable to handle a drunk customer – and it's Gavin!
Hannah finds Andy near the water and tells him she's his friend, and wants to support him as he looks after Josh. But Andy can't be friends – he still loves her. Andy tells Hannah to stay away from him and stalks off, their messy situation getting even more complicated.
Ricky tells Gavin to leave, but he keeps harassing her, and she threatens to call the police. Gavin stands up and apologises, then gropes her, forcing Ricky to lose her cool and kick him out. How is she going to explain this to Nate?

Kat tries to convince Emerson that they need to keep investigating Charlotte, as her story about Trystan doesn't add up – they are connected somehow.
Emerson reminds her she isn't a homicide detective, but she stresses how important it is that they don't let Charlotte walk free if she's a murderer.
Meanwhile, as Charlotte continues her relationship with Kyle, she receives a call from Gunno, ordering her to meet him at prison. Charlotte makes an excuse and leaves, dreading what lies ahead.
At the restaurant, Ash can't believe what Gavin did, and wants Ricky to tell Nate, but she's torn – Nate and Gavin have only just started talking again, and Ricky doesn't want to ruin things.
Gavin arrives at Nate's place, slightly tipsy and looking to spend more time with his son. Nate lets him in, completely unaware that he's just groped Ricky at Angelo's.
Ash notices Ricky stalling, and sends her off to talk to Nate about Gavin, assuring her it's the right thing to do.
Phoebe arrives after her first day as the school music tutor, frustrated that the students aren't more excited about music. Ash tells her not to overthink it, but Phoebe's determined to go back in with a well-prepared plan of attack.
Charlotte meets Gunno at prison, and he asks her what happened to Trystan. Charlotte claims it was an accident. Gunno tells her that even though Trystan's gone, she's still not off the hook, and Charlotte's backed into a corner again.
Ash tries to distract Phoebe as she continues to obsess about work, but she's got a one-track mind, and tells him to either help her or let her do it herself. Ash is at a loss, but still wants to find a way to help Phoebe unwind somehow.
Ricky gets home to find Nate playing cards with Gavin, who acts as if he nothing happened at Angelo's earlier. Nate picks up on Ricky's discomfort, but she covers for Gavin.
Gavin leaves, and Nate tells Ricky that they had fun together, making her more uncomfortable about telling him about what Gavin did.
Charlotte tells Gunno that she's tried everything to find out if Brax is still alive, but he wants her to move onto Ash next. Charlotte refuses, and points out that with Trystan dead, Gunno has no proof that she killed Denny.
Gunno's impressed, and before Charlotte leaves, she wants to agree on a cover story for her visit.
Unable to hide the truth any longer, Ricky admits that there's a problem with Gavin.
Nate confronts his father, who pleads with him for another chance. But Nate's had enough, and his old, unspoken anger comes flooding out. Nate tells Gavin he doesn’t ever want to see him again, and watches him leave, washing his hands of his father for good.
That night, Phoebe hits a wall as she tries to prepare more for her next class.
The door bursts open, revealing Ash wearing a robe. He turns some music on and does a strip tease for her.
Phoebe stops him before he goes all the way, feeling lucky she's got a boyfriend that will embarrass himself for her. She agrees that she needed the distraction, and they tumble towards the bedroom.
Emerson tells Kat he made some calls, and has found out that Trystan has been working with Gunno. He also discovered that Gunno is the prime suspect for running Brax's prison transfer vehicle off the road. Kat thinks it's too much of a coincidence, and her mind races as she tries to work out how Charlotte fits in.
Meanwhile Charlotte arrives at Kyle's with champagne, in the mood to celebrate after dealing with Gunno.
As Kyle goes to get some champagne glasses, Charlotte notices she's still wearing her prison visitor's pass, and takes it off, hiding it with her things.
When he comes back she pulls him towards the bedroom with a mischievious grin.
Nate reveals that he didn't want Gavin around Ricky and Casey after what he did, so he told him to leave the Bay.
Ricky apologises for contacting him in the first place, but Nate is glad that he got to tell him what he put his family through all those years ago.
Nate leaves for work, but Ricky wonders if he really is as alright as he says he is.
At work, Nate finds a patient being wheeled in after his car hit a tree. Nate's shocked as he realises it's his father.
As Kat and Emerson try to figure out Charlotte's connection to Gunno and Trystan, they receive a phone call from the prison.
Kat finds Charlotte at the surf club dropping Kyle off for work, and asks her if she visited Gunno in prison today. Is Charlotte's game finally up?
Wednesday 25 November
Kat interrogates Charlotte about visiting Gunno, but her cover story is strong. Charlotte says she used to date Gunno and he wanted to apologise for the past. Kat still thinks it's connected to Trystan's murder, but Charlotte keeps her cool. Kat reluctantly lets her go.
As Charlotte leaves, Kat gets a disturbing call from the hospital.
Nate frantically tries to revive his father, but he's not responding. Desperate, Nate administers a final defibrillation treatment, and Gavin is jolted back to life.
Nate's relieved as Kat arrives with the accident report. Kat describes what happened, and Nate's stunned as he realises his father deliberately drove into the tree.
The next morning, Olivia's excited as she gets ready to catch up with Hunter. Irene suspects there's something going on between them, but Olivia says they're just friends.
At the rock pool, Olivia hesitates to get out of the water in front of Hunter, and tells him not to look as she goes to her towel. Cheeky Hunter takes a peek, and is shocked to see the scars on Olivia's thighs. But Olivia doesn't know he's seen anything as they walk off together.
Irene checks if Leah's organised her Hen's Night yet, and Phoebe jokingly offers Ash up as a stripper.
Kyle crosses with Kat and she tells him that Charlotte visited Gunno in prison, taking Kyle by complete surprise, and he leaves to process the news.
Ricky finds Nate on the beach and checks that he's okay.
Nate explains that Gavin's surgery went well, but he's not going to get involved in his life again – it'd be asking for trouble.
Ricky can't believe that's his attitude.
Kat goes to prison to see Gunno. She clearly means business, and Gunno is intrigued.
Kat grills him, but hits a wall when she realises he's matched his cover story with Charlotte's.
As she wraps it up, Gunno casually tries to find out if Kat knows that Brax is alive, planting a seed of doubt in Kat's mind.
Kyle confronts Charlotte, who sticks to her cover story. Kyle points out that Gunno's the reason Brax is dead. He asks her why she lied about the job interview, and she shuts him down, telling him their relationship is over.
Charlotte stalks off, and even though she says she's telling the truth about her and Gunno, Kyle still has a bad feeling about it.

Hunter tells VJ about Olivia's scars, but doesn't think it's his place to say something, and makes VJ promise to keep quiet as well.
VJ can’t stop himself when he sees Olivia, mentioning that Hunter saw her scars. He offers to be there for her if she needs to talk.
Embarrassed and angry, Olivia storms off.
Nate tries to block out his father's accident, but Ricky can't accept it – it just feels cold. Ricky encourages Nate to be there for him, and he wonders if he's rejected his father too soon.
At the hospital, Nate sits at his father's bedside. But has he made the right choice?
Kat finds Ash with Phoebe, and asks for a moment alone. When Phoebe leaves, Kat tells Ash she wants to speak about the day Brax died. Ash tries not to react, but doesn't like the sound of it at all.
Ash sticks to his story about the last time he saw Brax alive, and wonders why it's coming up again. Kat reveals that she spoke to Gunno about Trystan, and mentions Charlotte's prison visit.
Kat leaves and Ash calls Charlotte, determined to get answers.
They meet, and Charlotte realises that Ash knows Brax is alive. She tells him that Gunno has been using her to find Brax, but since she didn't know until now, hasn't told him anything.
Ash is worried for Ricky's safety, and they make a deal – Charlotte tells no-one that Brax is alive, and Ash sticks to Charlotte's cover story about Gunno being her ex. Ash doesn’t like the arrangement one bit, but knows he has to live with it.
Ash texts Brax a heads up that Gunno knows he's alive, and keeps the news about Gunno and Charlotte to himself. But when Kyle arrives and tells Ricky and Phoebe about Charlotte's prison visit, Ash is forced to hose down their concerns against his better judgement.
Kyle's doubts still niggle.
Hunter’s upset when VJ tells him about Olivia's reaction, but VJ thinks they've got something to worry about. Zac comes in, and Hunter decides to fill him in about what's going on.
Zac goes to the diner to see Irene about Olivia.
