Robyn Walker (Music Reviewer)
Robyn Walker was originally a Havelock North kid, predisposed towards music television, chocolate and dogs. A bass player at school, she still aspires for rock'n'roll stardom.
The majesty of mountains magnetised her - she climbed to the summit of a degree in physical geography. Radio Active 89FM ensnared her with the beauty, spirit and audacity of NZ Music. Many fine local musical occasions cracked under her whip.
A stint at City Gallery Wellington opened her eyes to quixotic landscapes while journalistic endeavour improved not her shorthand skills.
Audacious as Rockgirl, she's charmed afternoon sunshine listeners before now navigating the night time on Radio New Zealand National, which sits well with her prior unease with early mornings.
She still pines to have a dog of her own (much to the disdain of her cat).
