Poha (Flattened rice)

Serves 2-3 people

Preparation time 5 min- 10 min


1 cup poha (flattened rice)

½ ea onion

½ cup green peas

2 tbl spoon oil

1 ea green chilli

1 tsp mustard seeds

2 ea curry leaves

½ tsp turmeric

½ tsp salt

½ tsp red chilli

½ cup peanuts

½ cup chopped fresh coriander

½ cup chopped mint

1 ea lemon


Place flatten rice in sieve sprinkle with water and milk .let it rest till water is drained.

Take a non-stick pan , and heat oil .Add curry leaves,  mustard seed  and chilli

Add onion and peas sauté till soft, add all powdered spices.

Add flattened rice , stir and serve

Garnish with coriander, mint peanuts and lemon juice.
