Pad Thai by Ganesh Raj


Ingredients ( 4 serves)


200g Thai Rice Noodles

1 cup bean sprouts

1 cup Chives

2 tbl peanut oil

2 tbl lime juice

2 tbl sugar

1 shallot chopped

1 cup fried tofu

2 tbl roasted pounded peanuts

1/2 tsp chilli powder

3 tsp garlic

4 tsp fish sauce

 1 egg





  1. Soak rice noodles in luke warm water till soft.
  2. In a hot wok heat oil and fry off peanuts and put aside.
  3. Then add shallots, garlic and tofu and stir till brown.
  4. Add drained noodles to wok.
  5. Add lime, sugar, fish sauce and chilli powder.
  6. Push noodles aside and fry egg in empty space in wok. 
  7. Once cooked fold egg into rest of noodles.
  8. Pu onto plate and serve with peanuts on top.
