Murg Malai Tikka

Murg Malai Tikka (Creamy Chicken)
Serves 3- 5people
Preparation time 15- 20 mins
Ingredients
500g boneless chicken
4-5 wooden skewers
For marinade
1/2 cup cream
2 tbsp yoghurt
1/4 cup ricotta cheese (optional)
1/4 cup mozzarella
2 tbsp ginger paste
2 tbsp garlic paste
3-4 green chilli
1 lemon
1 lemon zest
1/4 tsp cumin powder
1/4 tsp coriander powder
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
1/4 tsp nutmeg
3-4 strands of saffron (optional )
1 tbsp ghee or oil
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp white pepper
Garnish
Chopped fresh mint
Chopped coriander
Dried fenugreek
Method
Soak the skewer in water for 1 hour (it prevents it from
burning)
Cut the boneless chicken breast into cubes and skewer
them
In a bowl combine all ingredient of marinade, and mix well to
remove all lumps
Marinade chicken and leave it in the refrigerator for at least 1-2
hours.
Pre heat the oven to 200C
Brush the marinated chicken with oil or ghee and cook till
done (approx 15- 20 min)
Once chicken is cooked sprinkle with mint and coriander and dried
fenugreek.
Serve with julienne of cucumber, tomato, onion and carrot!
