2 cups castor sugar
250g melted butter
1 cup milk
2 1/2 cups self-rising flour
Beat the eggs and sugar until light coloured, thick and creamy. Add the butter and milk, whisk until combined, then stir in the flour.
Pour into a greased baking tray, bake 1 hour at 180C.
Brush with a little extra melted butter then sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
For a dessert serve with stewed apples and custard.
