1 kg Carrot
1/2 litre Milk
2 tbsp Ghee
Sugar (according to taste)
1/2 tsp Cardamon powder
Some dried fruit and coconut to garnish
Peel and grate all the carrots and steam it for 10 min.
Add milk and sugar and let it cook for another half an hour and keep stirring. Let it cook till all the milk has been absorbed.
Heat Ghee in a separate pan and add carrot mix, dried fruit and Cardamon powder and garnish it with shredded coconut.
Halwa is ready to serve, serve it hot with a spoon of vanilla ice cream.
