Preparation time: 15 minutes
A yogi-friend of mine loves these. They are basically the same components of a fancy raw power bar and have been loved by hippies since hippies were invented.
1 cup nuts, (almonds and cashews)
6 fresh medjool dates, stones removed
6 pitted prunes
1/4 cup raw cocao (sic) powder
2 tablespoons dried cranberries, roughly chopped.
1/4 cup fancy thread coconut, toasted
In a small blender, pulse nuts until a nice chunky powder. Remove.
Process dates and prunes until a thick puree.
Add back the nuts and the cocao powder.
Pulse until a thick sticky dough is formed.
Pulse in the cranberries.
Drop spoonfuls into the toasted coconut and form pretty little balls. Chill until ready to serve.
