Beer bread

Spray Oil
1 can or bottle of beer (375 ml)
80 ml water
3 1/4 cups plain flour
1 tsp salt
3 tsp baking powder
1 Tbsp of oil


1/2 cup grated cheese
8 large sun-dried tomatoes
2 Tbsp pesto
3 Tbsp Parmesan
1/4 cup chopped olives


Pre-heat oven to 200C, spray loaf dish and set aside.

Mix all the dry ingredients in a large dish with a wooden spoon, add beer oil and water mix well.

To flavour bread add one or two of the options; for example, sundried tomatoes and pesto, or olives with parmesan.

Before placing in the oven brush with a little olive oil, sprinkle with parmesan cheese.

Bake for 45 minutes.
