Shara Connolly plays Candy
Auckland-born actress Shara Connolly was first bitten by the acting bug when she was eight years old, performing with community theatre company Howick Little Theatre.
At aged 15 Shara landed her first television part on the series P.E.T Detectives playing one of the lead characters, Jenny.
She went on to land guest roles in South Pacific Pictures dramas Shortland Street and Outrageous Fortune, as well as in feature film Hugh and Heke .

After appearing in previous Go Girls seasons, Shara returns to the show to reprise her role as Candy McMann, Britta's badly behaved younger sister.
Along with having a background in both stage and screen acting, Shara has a BA in media studies.
