Libby was somewhat of a high school drop-out, flunking out halfway through her final year to dabble in a bit of waitressing and fruit picking in her home town of Havelock North. It wasn't long before she opted for what she hoped would be a long and illustrious career of unemployment.

A few months later, abject total boredom drove Libby to apply for a cadet reporter's position at a local community newspaper, and after a few short weeks in the job, she was hooked on journalism.

Libby worked for newspapers for the next eight years, largely at the New Zealand Herald, the Sunday Star-Times, and the Waikato Times.

But after a couple of years overseas, Libby was ready to try something new. She joined TV3, and spent the next four and a half years working as a news and current affairs reporter, chasing down dodgy crims on the crime, court and breaking news beat.

Libby's delighted to join the Fair Go team. She loves the show's punchy attitude, humour and the way it manages to get great results for people who've been well and truly shafted.

When Libby's not chasing stories, she's a mum to her gorgeous girl Mia, a wife, a closet gardener, a fanatical foodie, and a travel nut, who's ever hopeful of another trip overseas.
