Gwyneth Paltrow says she often turns down exciting film roles to look after her family.
The 40-year-old actress and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin have daughter Apple, eight, and six-year-old Moses.
Paltrow told InStyle magazine: "I look for an interesting supporting part about once a year. That's the most I can manage. Some women can do it and that's fantastic, but I can't.
"You make choices as a wife and mother, don't you? You can't have it all. I don't care what it looks like."
Paltrow said part of her would love more children.
"My brain says, 'Oh, I think I'm done, the kids are big now and I don't want to go back to changing diapers'.
"But a part of me would love to have another. Of course, I'm old now!"
The Iron Man star said she loved being a mother and related to both her children differently.
'"When Apple was born, she had the hugest blue eyes. I looked into them and she was looking at me, and I felt like, 'You are here to teach me everything'," she said.
"After Moses was born, I had postpartum depression. It was a difficult time and because of that, I believe I have an extra empathy for him and he for me."
