Sally Dynevor plays Sally Webster
Sally Dynevor (born 30 May 1963) plays Sally Webster on Coronation Street.
Sally debuted on Coro in January 1986 as Sally Seddon, and has been on the show ever since.
Sally previously trained at Oldham Repertory Theatre and then the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, and in 1985 she appeared in an episode of the television series Juliet Bravo, playing problem-teenager Wendy Cunningham.
Before winning the role of Sally Webster, Sally auditioned for the roles of Sue Clayton and Michelle Robinson. She didn't win either role but the casting directors liked her, and the role of Sally Seddon was created just for her.
Sally married scriptwriter Tim Dynevor in Trafford, Greater Manchester, in 1995. They have three children, Phoebe, Samuel and Harriet. The eldest, actress Phoebe Dynevor, starred in Waterloo Road as Siobhan Mailey.
First appearance on Coronation Street in the UK:
27 January 1986: Sally Seddon was on her way to a job interview when Kevin Webster drove through a puddle in his van and soaked her. He took her home to dry off and they arranged a date.
