Auckland police believe they have caught the pricipal offenders involved in a methamphetamine ring.
Fourteen people have been arrested in a South Auckland sting on more than a dozen houses, with police seizing thousands of dollars in cash, firearms, ammunition and a range equipment used to make P.
It was part of a police operation that began nearly five months ago, and involved 50 staff.
Detective Sergeant Brett Shields says they identified a lot more people than the 14 arrested, but believe they are the main offenders.
He says methamphetamine, cash, firearms, ammunition and drug making paraphernalia were found at the properties.
