Tue Dec 12: Cautionary Tale; Jayden Headley; Music Managers
When Bernardo and Louise Strickland decided to sell their home, they signed up with No Commission Property Sales, West Auckland branch. No Commission is a franchise business that's not a real estate agent, but helps the private seller by marketing the homeowner's property for them at a cheaper rate than you might expect. But Laurna White discovers that the Stricklands ended up with little help at a high cost.
Note: This story only relates to the West Auckland branch of No Commission. Close Up has not had any complaints about any other branches of the franchise.
Jayden Headley Inquiry
This Saturday it's four months since Jayden Headley was snatched outside the Hamilton public library. Despite the fact that his grandfather Dick Headley - who has the six year old and is on the run - has communicated with Close Up and other media, the trail for the pair seems to have gone cold. Mark Sainsbury talks to Inquiry Head Detective Senior Sergeant Chris Page about where the investigation is at.
