The Crafar Farm deal was approved again by the same ministers who approved it last time after a reassessment to ensure the Chinese buyer was bringing more to the country than a local buyer would.
It's fired up lots of oppostion and may well cost John Key politically.  But after a visit from a senior Chinese politician many felt the deal would always be done.
Mark Sainsbury put this to John Key.

Every generation has had their boy band and for today's young teens One Direction are it.
The numbers are staggering - millions in sales, overnight hits, but the five young guys who tried out for X-Factor, then were cobbled together as a band, follow in a grand tradition. 

Millions have read EL James' books but not so many openly admit to it because the books are raunchy. The critics call them "mummy porn".
They have transformed Erika Leonard London, TV executive, into EL James, best-selling author. Her trilogy occupies the top three spots on the New York Times best-selling e-books list.

For Pat Klouwens, today is retirement day.
She deserves special attention because not many could match her dedication and her stickability.
