Britain's new Prime Minister, David Cameron, faces a situation his predecessors haven't dealt with for 70 years as he looks to form a coalition government.

But if he needs advice, he does have a friend in John Key who has been in touch every week by phone or text since the pair met soon after Key's successful election campaign.
