Today is the 60th anniversary of Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay's ascent of Mt Everest and we'll be paying tribute to their remarkable achievement throughout the show.

We'll hear from Sir Ed's son Peter in London; specialist guide Guy Cotter from Nepal; Sir Ed's close friend Tom Scott and also get a first look behind the scenes of the new Everest movie that's just wrapped filming in the Himalayas.

Plus the Weekes triplets are remembered one year on from their tragic deaths in a Doha mall fire and banana importer Dole drops the controversial "ethical choice" sticker - will it be enough to control any consumer backlash?

We meet the girl who's been barefoot for 6 months for charity and Gordon Harcourt talks us through big changes you need to be aware of for your house insurance.

And Sam's broadcasting the weather from Tauranga as the Toyota Talent Tour continues.
