John is the head of Mediacom digital.
When he's not doing that, his time is taken up testing the latest technology for Breakfast.
"I see both jobs as quite similar," he says.
"At Mediacom I take some quite technical information about digital media, such as websites and mobile phones, and explain it in simple terms for our clients. It's the same with the technology tester spot on Breakfast. After all, people just want to know how something works, how it will benefit them and whether it is worth spending their hard earned cash on it.
"If I can make technology easy to understand and play with some really cool gadgets along the way, then hey, everybody wins."
