Charlotte Bellis - Source: Breakfast
Charlotte Bellis is a ONE News sport reporter based in Auckland.
Charlotte previously worked as a news reporter in Christchurch from 2009-2011 after six years working and studying in the United States.
Charlotte lived in Missouri for most of her time completing an Honours degree at the Missouri School of Journalism, followed by her Masters in International Journalism.
She also worked for NBC News for four years in Missouri and Washington DC
Born and raised in the South, Charlotte spent much of her childhood on her father's sheep farm in north Canterbury.
She played tennis for New Zealand throughout juniors, captaining the NZ U/16 team to Australia.
Charlotte says the highlight of working at TVNZ, where she was previouosly the Breakfast reporter and producer for Christchurch, is meeting a diverse group of people.
She describes the job as eye opening, challenging and grounding reporting on the ups and downs of the community.
