INGREDIENTS

600g firm fish fillets
4 large potatoes (peeled)
1/2 cup flour
2 large eggs (lightly beaten)
1 cup wholemeal breadcrumbs
3 lemons, sliced into wedges
1 cup yoghurt
1 tsp Dijon mustard
Gherkins (finely chopped)
Spice Mix
2 tsp salt
2 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1/4 tsp cardamom
1/4 tsp ground allspice

METHOD
Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
Peel potatoes and slice into long, thick chunks.
In a large bowl, toss potatoes in spice mix with a drizzle of oil.
Bake in the oven for 35 minutes.
To prepare the fish, slice into strips and coat with flour, egg, then breadcrumbs.
Place on a lined baking tray and cook for 20 minutes in the oven.
For the sauce, mix together gherkins, Dijon, yoghurt and salt.
Serve fish and chips with sauce and lemon wedges.
