A US woman said she is being stalked by an 11-kilo turkey dubbed "Godzilla."
Edna Geisler said that she has become a prisoner in her Commerce Township property in Oakland County, Michigan, following daily harassment by the large bird.
The 69-year-old told the Detroit Free Press that the turkey wanders near her home each day from the nearby woods.
She said she has been bumped and clawed, and has even tried to change her schedule to avoid the bird.
"I have to go to the post office at 6 o'clock in the morning to avoid him," Geisler told the Detroit paper.
The Free Press has posted a video online showing the turkey's aggressive behaviour.
A State wildlife expert Tim Payne said adult turkeys are known to aggressively defend their territory.
He suggests driving the turkey back with an umbrella.
