Vanuatu prepares to evacuate due to volcano

Officials in Vanutau are ready to evacuate nearly 3,000 people as an active volcano threatens to erupt.

The gaua volcano on the northern island has started to spew ash cloud. It has blown its top 13 times since 1963.

Officials are taking precautions and have prepared boats to ferry the villagers off the island.
