Twelve-year-old Aussie girl gives birth

A 12 year-old Australian girl has given birth to a baby boy.

The girl's case came to light earlier this year when her dad revealed his ex-partner was allowing the girl's 15-year-old boyfriend to sleep with her.

New South Wales Community Services Minister Linda Burney says the girl has chosen to raise the baby with her mother and social workers will keep in close contact with them.

The girl was just 11 when she fell pregnant.
