Six people were killed in nearly simultaneous bomb blasts at the JW Marriott and the Ritz-Carlton hotels in central Jakarta, Indonesian police said.

It is the second time in six years the Marriott has been targeted, after a car bomb killed 12 people in 2003.

That attack was blamed on Islamic militants.
