Thirty killed in Nepal bus plunge

A bus packed with villagers fell off a hilly road and plunged into a river in west Nepal, killing at least 30 people, police said.
   
The accident took place at Kitti village; about 320 km west of Kathmandu, while negotiating a sharp bend.
   
Road accidents are common in mountainous Nepal where poorly maintained buses ply on hilly roads.
