Police investigating the shootings of two youths at close range by a group of boys in northwest London said they had made a third arrest
A boy aged 15 was detained at his undisclosed home address as detectives appealed for witnesses to the shootings outside a McDonald's in Neasden last Saturday night.
Two other teenagers have been held after a 19 and 18-year-old were shot by a group of youths, some of them on bikes.
Detective Inspector Mick Millar of the Metropolitan Police Shooting team said it was an unprovoked attack.
"We understand that the victims were approached by possibly five black youths believed to be in their teens and that a verbal confrontation took place between them. The suspects were aggressive towards the victims and attempted to rob them," Millar said in a statement.
"One suspect produced a handgun and fired several shots at the victims from a close proximity.
"All five suspects then made off, two of which were on bicycles. One of these is described as a red 'BMX' type bike," he added.
A 14 and 15-year-old were arrested on Monday at separate addresses in nearby Brent in connection with the incident.
The victims were treated at two separate London hospitals and are in a serious but stable condition.
