An influx of 25,000 Year 12 students are expected to hit the Gold Coast on Saturday for the start of Schoolies celebrations.
Police, organisers and emergency services say they're prepared for the flood of students, who have just finished their last year of school.
A Schoolies Hub has been set up at Surfers Paradise to provide free entertainment over the week.
The Year 12 students will be issued with wristbands to identify legitimate Schoolies revellers.
Police have warned younger students to stay at home, while older people - the interlopers known as Toolies - have been advised to go clubbing instead.
Police are expecting up to 35,000 schoolies on the Gold Coast over Schoolies week, which ends next Saturday.
